Dr. Joan Baijnath is a licensed physician specializing in internal medicine and the founder and creator of Avanya Mineral Cosmetics. Benevolence led Dr. Baijnath to medicine and now to the cosmetic industry. She envisioned creating a line of mineral cosmetics that would improve the lives of women by utilizing natural ingredients that prevent and protect against pre-mature aging and common skin conditions.

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Baijnath has seen first hand the emotional and physical scars acne can incur. It is a well known fact that women develop acne in response to the preservatives, perfumes, and dyes found their traditional cosmetic and skin care products. Like most women, Dr. Baijnath also has sensitive skin and has suffered with acne most of her life because of the traditional cosmetic products. She quickly realized that like a high percentage of her patients, she would not be seen in public without make-up, especially with acne scars. Dr. Baijnath felt it was essential to create a line of cosmetics to help her, her patients and all women.

Avanya Mineral Cosmetics was founded in 2004, but was not officially launched until two years later due to Dr. Baijnath?s intense research and development to perfect the Avanya Mineral Cosmetics line. Dr. Baijnath?s vision is to develop a brand of mineral cosmetics that promotes and maintains healthy skin while enhancing a woman?s natural beauty. Avanya Mineral Cosmetics is one hundred percent committed to Dr. Baijnath?s vision and ensures that the Avanya brand will always protect and nourish the outer beauty to let the inner beauty shine through.

Currently Dr. Joan Baijnath resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband where they spend their time volunteering in various different charitable foundations and organizations. She is the acting CEO and continues to drive the research and development team to provide the highest quality and most innovative products for the Avanya Mineral Cosmetic customer.
