One way to stir up some drama on the red carpet is with an arresting eye look. The women in this week's roundup proved that with sultry stares built up around liner. And while Julianne Hough and Jennifer Lawrence showed what a simple swipe of black or pewter pencil at the lashes can do for enhancing their baby blues, it was those celebrities that coated it on their rims that really demonstrated how a cosmetic slight of hand can ratchet up some serious sex appeal. Coco Rocha pulled out all the stops with full-on sooty shadow, a red lip and a wavy faux bob that was perfectly retro. Jessica Chastain, on the other hand, created a modern sensibility with a waterlined cat eye for a bold beauty that was more daring than usual for her and a direction we'd love to see over and over again.
