I disagree with the advice, go opposit your eye color to make it pop. Blues use brown or greens, greens use purples, browns can use anything. Hazel pick the eyeshadow based on what tone of the hazel you want to stand out most, example if you want to pull the green out use purple tones. Using colors too close to your eye color dull them because the colors fade together rather than giving a background to stand out against. Just my opinion as a makeup artist.

I have blue eyes and it’s always the same go for browns, etc. Greens look good w/ blue, almost anything, for once I would like to see some other advice than browns. Purples, pastels tones, etc.

Cranberry looks beautiful on a blue/grey eye. Makes mine pop and I get millions of compliments and also rusty coppers too. My complexion is fair and I am a blonde (financially)…

Shouldn’t skin tone play a role as well? What colours work on someone with a warm skin tone won’t necessarily work on someone with a cool skin tone.
