Pretty is one thing. Drop-dead gorgeous is an entirely different thing, as proven by the women in this week's roundup. Bold brows, plush lashes, unbelievably flawless complexions and lips saturated by nude, pink and fire-engine red hues all worked together to create one super-sultry look. What was refreshing about the look is that is was appearing on a new generation of leading ladies, who provided their own twist on pulling off sexy makeup. Those long, wavy, face-framing curls that typically appear on the red carpet were replaced by hair that was pulled off the face, short or straight for a result that was entirely modern and strong.
