Backstage Pass: The Sexy 4-Step Nighttime Look

For date night, one rarely thinks to skip foundation (what about that breakout...and the dark circles...and that weird patch of dry skin???). But that's exactly what Maybelline New York Makeup Artist Gato Zamora suggested during the Spring 2012 Carlos Miele fashion show. Backstage, Zamora focused more on concealer to not only hide noticeable trouble spots (hi there, Mount Vesuvius!), but to also highlight the natural beauty of skin for a sophisticated yet simple (AND QUICK) night time look.
Step 1. Only if you need it, prep your skin with a light layer of foundation...but only if you need it! Then, dot concealer (Zamora used Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer) onto your forehead, cheeks, browbones, and the inner corners of your eyes, blending lightly with your fingers.
Step 2. For some sexy contouring action, sweep bronzer from the outer forehead to the temple, under the cheekbone and under the jaw line.
Step 3. Apply a light wash of chocolate brown shadow to your eyelids, and follow with a creamy luminescent shade in the inner corners of your eyes and one coat of volumizing mascara on the top lash line only.
Step 4. Since it's still undecided whether guys prefer red hot lips or a nude pout, go with a glossy neutral hue that's just a hint darker than your natural lip shade.
How do you quickly get ready for an impromptu night out on the town?
