What's just as important as a girls' night out? A girls' night in, naturally. Getting all your besties together for an evening of wine, takeout and pampering is the perfect remedy for a long, exhausting week. Laughing with your ladies while indulging in your favorite beauty treatments is one of the best ways to recharge and reboot. That being said, we've gone and pulled together all the beauty products you need to host the most fabulous girls' night in. We've broken it down by "station,” so your guests can pick and choose where and how they want to decompress. Seriously, you'll have so much fun and feel so relaxed you'll never want to go out again.
Station #1: Manicure
What's a girls' night in without manicures? If you have a full manicure set on-hand, that's ideal. If not, stick with basic mani tools: nail file, clippers and cuticle pusher. And instead of offering just polish options, include a nail art component, too. Some patterned nail wraps and glitter topcoats are fun ways to mix things up. Need some inspo? Check out this list of our fave nail tutorials.
Station #2: Pedicure
Polish and toe separators are staples for any pedicure station, but including an exfoliating foot scrub will give it a major upgrade. You can also make an easy DIY lavender foot soak: Just mix ¼ cup of Epsom or sea salt with a few drops of lavender essential oil in warm water, and voila. You and your guests will feel like you're at a luxury spa.
Station #3: Facial
Purifying clay masks are fun for a girls' night in. And let’s be honest, having all your friends covered in green goop makes for the perfect group selfie. To soothe those peepers while your mask dries, try placing cucumber-infused eye patches or chilled cucumber slices on top of your lids.
Remember how in grade school you would braid your friends' hair during a sleepover? Well, now you can do the grown up version with a braid station. Set up hair spray, bobby pins and elastics in front of a mirror and create a fancy braided bun or your favorite fishtail plait. Here are some braid tutorials to keep you and your ladies busy for a while:
A girls' night in is the perfect opportunity to go crazy with your makeup palette and try that wild tutorial you've been dying to test out (but never had the time or guts to try). Set up a station with makeup palettes, brushes, a laptop and a mirror so you all can follow along together. Just make sure to have plenty of makeup wipes on hand — things might get messy.
Set up a "selfie booth" in your home by pinning a tapestry (or cute wrapping paper) to the wall as a backdrop so everyone can take a glamour shot of their finished product. You're going to want to document this night on Instagram.
