Go Shopping to Support Hurricane Sandy Relief

Hurricane Sandy packed a punch when it slammed into the Northeast last week leaving little but devastation in its path. But now you can fight back—with beauty.
Stock up on your favorites, get a jump-start on holiday gift-giving or simply have a good reason to go shopping with this roundup of hair, skin care and makeup brands that are donating proceeds on purchases to support relief efforts for those victimized by the storm. Getting pretty has never felt nicer!
Chantecaille: Luxury beauty brand Chantecaille is pledging 20 percent of website sales to the American Red Cross and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Kimberly Sayer: This week only, the London-based organic skin and body care line will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from orders up to $75.
Derm Store: This all-inclusive beauty site has created a Superstorm Sandy Relief Boutique of curated skin care items, where 5 percent of the proceeds from each sold item in the boutique will be donated to the American Red Cross. Brands involved include La Roche-Posay, Dermalogica, Glytone, SkinCeuticals, Jan Marini, Murad and SkinMedica, among others.
Anthony Logistics for Men: This men’s skin care brand will donate 75 percent of all online proceeds from their best-selling Blue Chamomile Hair and Body Cleansing Gel to Hurricane Sandy relief.
Priti NYC: With its roots in NYC, this nail polish brand is donating 10 percent of this week’s profits to the American Red Cross's Disaster Relief. The brand is also offering a 10 percent discount to customers on all orders placed through Saturday, November 10, when they enter the code "HurricaneRelief" at checkout.
The Cricket Company: This hair tool brand is giving $25 from every Centrix Shear purchase to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund.
