When the clock finally ticks away from the old year, many thoughts turn to how we can make the new one the best year ever.
Or at least better than the last.
This may or may not include making a long, long list of resolutions, but it can mean cleansing your habitat of old papers, cards, clothes, trinkets and makeup that might hinder a smooth transition into the new year.
Cleaning out it something I did this weekend, going through boxes of sentimentality (read: things that should’ve long been tossed in the wastebasket), weeding out what stays and what goes. This is when I happened across a true beauty blast from the past, something that brought me straight back to 1994, the year I officially turned a teenager and officially began understanding the importance of wearing mascara.
Yes, ladies and gents. I found me a mini sample bottle of CK One.
The clean-smelling, unisex fragrance from Calvin Klein was huge back in the (or my) day, thanks to those sexy black and white ads full of insouciant, waif-like models, including the great supe we know as Kate Moss. Everything about the models oozes 90s cool. And CK One was supposed to give that to you.
CK One is getting a relaunch for Spring/Summer ‘09, in a campaign containing a hip gaggle of models (like Coco Rocha, Sessilee Lopez, Jamie Strachan, Liu Wen, Jamie Burke) shot by Steven Meisel.
Now if only the Spin Doctors would make a comeback…
