The funny lady signed with CoverGirl Cosmetics to shill CG and Olay’s newest beauty product Simply Ageless Foundation.
How does Simple Ageless work?
Instead of the foundation finding its way into fine lines and wrinkles, the product stays “suspended” over them, meaning your skin will feign a smooth, youthful look.
DeGeneres’ ad spots on television ramp up in January 2009 — you might want to set the PVR, because no doubt the comedienne will be cracking jokes.
Says Ellen, “I’m thrilled to be a CoverGirl. I’ve been practicing in my bathroom mirror for years…Now finally, you’ll all be able to see it.”
I thought Ellen was an animal supporter!? For her to do an ad for Oil of Olay is hypocritical since they are guilty of unnecessary animal testing. Either she did it in ignorance or the check made her blind to it. Either way, Tisk Tisk Ellen!
I bought the Cover Girl Simply Ageless foundation and I like it but it is a lot lighter than what you think. I wear Ivory and it was almost white when I put it on so I used my powder and it looked o.k. I like the coverage and the container wasn’t hard to open like I had heard. I would recommend but just get next couple of colors up from what you normally would wear.
My mom purchased the new oil of olay cover girl make-up , and could not open it. We had a hard time trying to get the thing opened. I thought it was just me, until my Sister called me over the phone wanting to know how to open it, as she also purchased this. I am not sure why someone would buy it again if it is so hard to open. Also, I don’t purchase products that test on animals. WHY DO THEY NEED TO DO THAT AGAIN ?
