Election ‘08: Red, White and Blue

November 4, 2008.

Today marks a historic milestone in American history: The United States of America will either gain its first African-American president or first female vice president.

Whichever way you choose to vote will help alter the course of American politics, and all of us at Makeup.com hope you make a trip to your nearest polling station.

Here are a few red, white and blue products to make the process of exercising your right to vote a patriotic one.

MAC Lipglass in Russian Red ($16.50). And no, it won’t help you see Russia from Alaska.

Laura Mercier Nail Lacquer in limited-edition Caviar Dreams ($15). From Mercier’s new Black Tie Collection, this shade is a pearly black, two-toned colored that comes in either berry or teal.

Giorgio Armani Smooth Silk Eye Pencil in #0  ($26). The pencil’s texture is smooth and, thankfully, doesn’t tug at delicate eye skin in the least. Plus applying it to the inner corners of your eyes makes those irises pop.

And with that said, now you can vote for change, people of America.
