Matching shoes, clothes and handbags is a no-no when it comes to style. It’s just as huge a no-no to match eye shadow with lipstick and nail polish.
What isn’t forbidden, however, is to match makeup colors with the season, as in pairing up your nail color this Fall ‘09 with the autumnal palette outside. Brown can be a tough choice depending on your skin tone and the warmth or coolness of the shade chosen. Everything old is new again.
I would love to wear brown, but it never looks quite right on me. I guess I have to try many shades…
I love the idea of brown. I have a hard time using red or going as dark as black, so I think brown would be just right.
