The tennis world’s current number one seed, Rafael Nadal, is now the new face for Lanvin fragances.
Nadal, a 22-year old Spaniard, will tout a fragrance collection due for launch next year called Lanvin L’Homme Sport. Though not many details were released regarding the partnership, Inter Parfums SA — the licensee for for French brand — says Nadal’s image in central to fragrance line and will be used to tap into a younger generation of consumers.
Other tennis stars like Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, the Williams sisters and Andre Agassi have made their way into the fragrance market, a lucrative deal especially once their Grand Slam titles begin to wane in later years.
If Lanvin L’Homme Sport magically gives men the same size pipes as Nadal, then I know exactly what my boyfriend is getting for Christmas.
I’ll settle for a nice, clean smell, though.
