The Republican-Democratic battle for the presidential heat has gotten significantly more heated since Republican nominee Senator John McCain brought on Alaskan governor Sarah Palin as his running mate.
As a result, Palin has turned up the Republican campaign’s star wattage, steadily building a legion of fans called “Palinistas” (an obvious take on the word “fashionistas”), as well as spawning wigs and glasses made to her likeness.
Now a company called Pit Bull Mom launched two lipstick shades called Pale’n Pink and Republican Red for “today’s conservative woman”. No joke here, people.
Co-founder Fess Crockett says, “American women across the country have been holding their lipstick in the air as a sign of support for Sarah Palin, and we felt that the time was right for women everywhere to more boldly display their allegiance through Pit Bull Mom.”
Something tells me these ladies aren’t voting for Barack any time soon.
Talk about putting lipstick on a pig, er, pitbull.
