Not everyone can have the large, luminous eyes of a Zooey Dechanel or a Daria Werbowy. But who says you can’t fake it?
With a few products — like white eyeliner, neutral shadow, white shadow, brown eyeliner, mascara and an eyelash curler — and a few tricks of the trade, you can go from small to big in less than 15 minutes.
How, you ask? Here goes:

Ji Baek — the pretty and, er, polished proprietress of uber-chic Rescue Beauty Lounge in New York — went from playing professional violin to managing a restaurant to owning one of the top nail salons known in the industry.
Her client base among the fashion set burgeoned after she opened her first salon in 1999, thanks to signature nail designs in covetable patterns like Burberry plaid. In 2003, Baek decided to leave her clients to their own nail devices when they couldn’t make it into the salon by launching her own polish line throughout North America.

The first time I laid eyes on Vincent Cassel was during a movie session with my little sister, who picked up the French film “Irreversible”, which he headlined with real-life wife Monica Bellucci.
Cassel is handsome — in an odd, uneven, Gallic way — and I figure it’s his piercing blue eyes that got him signed as YSL Beaute’s newest fragrance face.

One of the biggest benefits of attending swanky red carpet soirees — that have to do with fashion — is the perk of exiting said soiree with a serious bag of swag.
My Hollywood Life Style Awards goodie cachet came with the usuals like tees, soaps and gift certificates, but surprisingly my favorite swag was a big bottle of Jessica Simpson’s first-ever fragrance, Fancy.

Make sure to tune in this Wednesday for a step-by-step on messy chignons with Chris Funk, style director at Blo Hair Bar!
When I was younger, my mother and grandmother continually extolled the benefits of rubbing lemon juice on the face.
Though it killed festering bacteria and smoothed out the tone of my complexion, the harsh acid got the best of me after awhile, leaving yours truly to leave the lemons for lemonade.

Diane Lane revived her love life with Raoul Bova in the 2003 rom-com Under The Tuscan Sun.
The team at Jimmy Belasco must have either loved the movie or spent a lot of time touring the Italian countryside, because the brand’s Under The Tuscan Sun Deluxe Soy Candle blend of mandarin, current, sandalwood, osmanthus flower and Italian Neroli is everything I imagine Tuscany to be.

Lancome has a brand new man at the top: Aaron de Mey.
The New Zealand-born de May comes from a hefty celebrity (Pamela Anderson), magazine (Mario Sorrenti, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber) and film (David Lynch, Sofia Coppola) background, an admirable portfolio to have before moving into his new Lancome Make-Up Artistic Director position at one of the world’s most established beauty brands.

Admit it.
You like gold on your fingers, around your wrist, dangling from your ears and hanging from your neck.
But how about having it slathered all over your face?
What do you get when you pair Matisse progeny with Hennessy progeny?
Fifty bottles hand painted by Sophie Matisse for Killan Hennessy perfumes, of course.
Killian Hennessy takes wafts of scent from his family’s famous cognac and mixes it with the wood barrel smell the liquor is stored in to create decadent fragrances for his olfactory line, By Killian.
