Female gamers, unite!
The Japanese are always, always one step ahead when it comes to technology and the video games that go along with it. Shiseido and Sega — two of the biggest S’s in the Land of the Rising Sun — teamed up to create Project Beauty, a game for Nintendo DS that allows users to scan digital images into the handheld console. These digital images are then categorized into four categories — cute, active, cool and feminine — after which tips and step-by-step instructions are given to the user on how to achieve different makeup looks.
Unfortunately, us North Americans will have to wait awhile to get Project Beauty — Japan will get first dibs.
In the meantime, we’ll have to keep tuning into that other Project everyone knows so well.
And yes, I mean Project Runway.
