I will sing the praises of Benefit bronzers and powders until the day I go to the big makeup counter and Vogue closet in the sky.
In fact, I’ll admit right now that I own two Benefit Dallas bronzers, just in case.
Benefit has a new addition to their cosmetic stable: a coral-hued, all-over face powder number [...]

I can just imagine how many ladies across the world woke up on January 1 feeling and looking like they’d been put through the wringer the night before.
Too much bubbly, all-night dancing and midnight kisses before ushering in the new year can do that to a gal.
These ladies probably should have had their hands on [...]

What’s the best way for a beauty-obsessed girl to spend a dreary, rainy early Saturday afternoon?
In the company of Jennifer Ho, a west coast member of Benefit Cosmetics’ makeup artist roster, naturally.
I arrived at my 1 pm appointment feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to be made glamourous by Jennifer and her arsenal of Benefit goodies. After sitting down in the high chair, she informed me that the brand has actually been around for 30 years, a piece of trivia not known by most.
Benefit is insistent of keeping makeup fun, clearly evidenced by the very cute, pretty packaging and tongue-in-cheek (or is that chic?) product monikers. Jennifer informed me what the brand likes to do is “solve every day beauty dilemmas”, so heavy eye shadow and bright, bright lips aren’t on the cosmetic menu each day of the week.

Dark circles under the eye are telltale signs that you either had a big night out with the girls, been inflicted with random bouts of insomnia, stayed up late watching back-to-back DVD episodes of Dexter or inherited a rather unfortunate aesthetic hereditary trait from the fam.
The bad news is you can’t erase dark under eye circles from existence, despite beauty products here, there and everywhere saying they can do it for you. And even worse news is they tend to get more prominent with age, as the delicate skin under the eyes gets thinner and blood vessels get more visible.

I predict brown or green-eyed ladies will go beserk for this new mascara hue — apply it as a full color for fun or apply it over regular mascara just at the eyelash tips for an eye-brightening effect.
