Think natural beauty. Think cutting-edge chic.
Then imagine it all being so effortless.
Lola products are simply like none you’ve ever used before.
Breathtakingly gorgeous signature red packaging. Lipsticks with an ingenious flip up mirror. Triple-milled European powders. Uncommonly rich pigments. Each of our uniquely packaged powders, blushes, eye shadows, lipsticks and pencils was created to put the power of beauty right at your fingertips.
The name “Lola” was chosen as the perfect embodiment of all that is confident, sexy, mysterious and daring in women. The name symbolizes the empowerment of women through beauty. “There is a little Lola in every woman” and she always gets what she wants!

Ellen DeGeneres makes us laugh day in and day out with her namesake show in the afternoons, but now she’s set on making us look radiantly beautiful, too.
The funny lady signed with CoverGirl Cosmetics to shill CG and Olay’s newest beauty product Simply Ageless Foundation.

For a generation hellbent on instant gratification, online shopping is quickly becoming the norm when having to buy presents for one’s self or others.
Thanks to major e-tailers like Shopbop.com, Zappos.com, Yoox.com, Bluefly.com and Makeup.com, fashion and beauty junkies can shop for Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses, Gucci riding boots and Ole Henriksen scrubs in pajamas — no need to go through the pain of having the dress up in order to avoid shopping discrimination, a la Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’.
Fulfilling your favorite beauty junkie’s holiday wish list — even if it means it’s your own — is going to be easier than ever this 2008.

What’s the best way for a beauty-obsessed girl to spend a dreary, rainy early Saturday afternoon?
In the company of Jennifer Ho, a west coast member of Benefit Cosmetics’ makeup artist roster, naturally.
I arrived at my 1 pm appointment feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to be made glamourous by Jennifer and her arsenal of Benefit goodies. After sitting down in the high chair, she informed me that the brand has actually been around for 30 years, a piece of trivia not known by most.
Benefit is insistent of keeping makeup fun, clearly evidenced by the very cute, pretty packaging and tongue-in-cheek (or is that chic?) product monikers. Jennifer informed me what the brand likes to do is “solve every day beauty dilemmas”, so heavy eye shadow and bright, bright lips aren’t on the cosmetic menu each day of the week.

I was recently reading a blog post from northwestvoice.com where a user commented if all politicians wear makeup. The answer of course is yes, as they have the eyes of millions of voters watching at any given moment. Such was the case during the Nationally televised Vice Presidential debate on Thursday.
Instead of asking ourselves who won the recent debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin, let’s instead vote on which politician pulled off the best makeup.
