Eye shadow is the most important part of your eye makeup, because it can help to re-contour the eyes and add emphasis to them. How you apply your eye shadow will make a huge difference in your appearance. The following eye shadow application tips can help any set of eyes to look gorgeous.
First Things First
The first thing to know when learning about eye shadow application is that you should use brushes to apply the makeup, as opposed to eye shadow applicators. Brushes are a good idea because they help you achieve a specific look when applying the eye shadow – it’s best to steer clear of foam applicators. So when you buy your eye shadows, if the applicator that comes with it is foam, the best thing to do is just toss it and use a brush.

Wednesday at the tents was phenomenal: Dennis Basso, Derek Lam, Halston, Rodarte, Behnaz Sarafpour, Badgley Mischka, G-Star, Matthew Williamson, Trovata and Mulberry.
Badgley Mischka went with dark gray eye shadow with pink lips and pulled back hair — Dennis Basso echoed the same darker, emphasized eyes on his runway, as did Trovata (in the eyeliner arena). [...]

The biggest show, year after year, is no doubt Marc Jacobs.
Fashion elite waited hours in past seasons for Jacobs’ runway presentations in a stifling hot venue just to see what the talented Mr. Jacobs had to offer the sartorial world, because somehow he always instinctively ahead of the trend game.
This season, the man kilt-loving designer [...]

Who knew Dame Edna Everage would end up being a MAC muse?
Following the heels of Hello Kitty for MAC is the purple-coiffed Australian drag queen — played by Barry Humphries since the mid-1950s — is now MAC’s latest collaborator. Fully recognizable, thanks to her lilac-colored hair and cat-eye glasses, Dame Edna inspires the limited-edition MAC collection with all sorts of purple and sparkle, the packaging stamped with glittery red glasses, gladiolas (her favorite flower) and her loopy signature.
