The Parisian cool go to one place for all their fashion, music, art and design needs: Colette.
Colette and Aeroports de Paris, who operate Charles de Gaulle Airport, have come up with a limited-edition travel beauty kit called “Kit de Beaute Colette pour Aeroports de Paris” that happily conforms to those pesky, annoying security requirements — I know a girl who had to forfeit her Smith’s Rosebud Salve because of them. Not good.

A big, big, BIG beauty faux pas is to incorrectly guesstimate the correct shade of foundation for your face, a lapse in aesthetic judgement that leads to a two-tone line just under the chin-line.
Gail Federici, a former exec at John Frieda, launched MyFace Cosmetics, a line aimed at eradicating such a rampant problem among the clueless masses. The brand — whose item prices range is between $11 and $24 — is divided into “fair”, “medium” and “medium/dark” products, a move that both removes the hassle of having to pick out a makeup arsenal on your own and prevents one from picking out completely erroneous shades.
