Inner Beaute

My girlfriend Shannon Heth — publicist extraordinaire (with the longest legs ever, might I add) — gave me a sample of Beaute’s Liqui-Gel Stain for Cheeks and Lips this weekend, developed by her New York-based good friend and star makeup artist, Beau Nelson.

Everything’s Coming Up Roses

The netherlands of one’s dresser drawers get stale over time. Really stale.

Well, I suppose that’s what poor air circulation, stagnant clothes and varnished wood will do.

Nobody is a fan of musty smelling undergarments, especially if they’re of the La Perla, Agent Provocateur or Kiki de Montparnasse variety (heck, or even Victoria’s Secret). This is where drawer liners and sachets come in majorly handy, like Sabon Rose Drawer Liners ($18). Each chic box of Sabon houses three sheets that can be cut to a specific drawer size and come in three olfactory-seducing fragrances: Bamboo, Vanilla and Rose.

Everything’s Coming Up Roses

Chantecaille is a cosmetics company for the flush folk and those who don’t mind dropping upwards of $80 for an eye shadow palette.

For Fall ‘08, the brand unveiled its new colors for their signature Shadow and the Rose palette ($79), which comes with two pearlescent eye shadow shades (mauve and deep brown-purple) and one complementary cheek color (peachy nude). Each color is embossed with Chantecaille’s signature rose, making it nearly impossible to want to use the palette for fear of messing it up.
