The product line, influenced by the lifestyle of Ms. Cousteau and full of fermented, sustainably-harvested algae extracts, relaunched at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills last week, and its marine muse turned up to give her blessing. For every product from the collection sold, one euro is donated to the Jacques Cousteau-founded Ocean Futures Society. Shiseido and Sega — two of the biggest S’s in the Land of the Rising Sun — teamed up to create Project Beauty, a game for Nintendo DS that allows users to scan digital images into the handheld console. These digital images are then categorized into four categories — cute, active, cool and feminine — after which tips and step-by-step instructions are given to the user on how to achieve different makeup looks.
