I was recently reading a blog post from northwestvoice.com where a user commented if all politicians wear makeup. The answer of course is yes, as they have the eyes of millions of voters watching at any given moment. Such was the case during the Nationally televised Vice Presidential debate on Thursday.
Instead of asking ourselves who won the recent debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin, let’s instead vote on which politician pulled off the best makeup.
Kate Moss is a style icon.
She was the one who brought skinny jeans tucked into pirate boots to the style masses, and her ensemble choices are fervently watched by chicettes from here to the other side of the pond.
Christian Lacroix must’ve been bitten by the Betsey Johnson bug, because his models’ hair looked a lot like hers: big volume, blunt bags and crimps.
Runways are the way to spot trends sartorial and beauty — so is the crimp making a comeback from the 80s?

First it was hot rocks. Then it was suction cups. Now it’s snakes.
People will do anything to when it comes down to beauty and pampering, especially if the result is rest, relaxation and the preservation of youth.

Eva Longoria is, besides your resident Desperate Housewife, one of the beautiful girls of Hollywood.
For red carpet events, she often prefers dramatic eyes with lush lashes and pale, pretty lips — I have yet to see her don a bright shade of rouge lipstick instead of a pearly gloss. At this year’s Emmy Awards, Longoria stuck to the dark mascara and black eyeliner, though her makeup artists did add a tinge of green along her bottom lashes for a sibliminal effect. As per usual, her Ton Parker-smooching lips were pared down.

American Apparel is doing it. So is Rebecca Taylor and Nicole Richie. Hippie headbands: Are they a do or don’t?
