From New York to London to Milan.
As editors, buyers and the international party set begin to weaken with transatlantic flights, late nights, too many cocktails and too many high heels, the beauty trends emerging from the runways continue to be strong.
Milan has already seen the Fall ‘09 collections from the likes of Moschino, Gucci, Bottega [...]

Grey has grown in dominance in fashion for the past year, re-establishing itself as a staple color to have in the closet (trust me, the shade has taken over a good portion of mine).
For Fall ‘09, it made a reappearance on the runway, this time as a beauty trend on eyes and lips, with designers [...]

Just because New York is done and done at Bryant Park for Fall ‘09 doesn’t mean Fashion Week is over.
The fashion set is now ensconced in London, where designers across the pond are showing their wares: Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Topshop Unique, Richard Nicoll, Twenty8Twelve, Peter Jensen, Aquascutum, Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony, Christopher Kane [...]

Is your Essie polish fading? Is that French manicure getting chipped??
You are luck, my dear friends.
The Fall ‘09 runways were full of gloves, gloves, gloves, giving every lady out there a good excuse to be lazy and forgo making an appointment at Rescue Beauty Lounge (saving in these harsh economic times, too!).
Oscar de la Renta [...]

Calvin Klein, Isaac Mizrahi, Brian Reyes, Ports 1961, Vera Wang, Tommy Hilfiger, Kai Kuhne, Phi, Rebecca Taylor and Zac Posen all hit the runways today.
Francisco Costa, in true Calvin Klein style, kept his models virtually free of makeup, save for a strong brow (think in the manner of a Jennifer Connelly) to complement what Style.com’s [...]

Wednesday at the tents was phenomenal: Dennis Basso, Derek Lam, Halston, Rodarte, Behnaz Sarafpour, Badgley Mischka, G-Star, Matthew Williamson, Trovata and Mulberry.
Badgley Mischka went with dark gray eye shadow with pink lips and pulled back hair — Dennis Basso echoed the same darker, emphasized eyes on his runway, as did Trovata (in the eyeliner arena). [...]

Fall ‘09 was no different in terms of gorgeous clothing from Herrera. While her pieces were wonderfully detailed, she opted to keep her models in youthful makeup (think flushed cheeks and sheer orange eye shadow). Where the likes of Lily Donaldson, Lakshmi Menon, Liu Wen, Tanya D, Olga Sherer, Toni Garrn, Natasha Poly and Kasia Struss lacked in bold makeup was made up in bold hair accessories, with bobby pins embellished with metallic flowers holding together low chignons.
Carolina Herrera wasn’t the only one adorning manes in one way or another.

The biggest show, year after year, is no doubt Marc Jacobs.
Fashion elite waited hours in past seasons for Jacobs’ runway presentations in a stifling hot venue just to see what the talented Mr. Jacobs had to offer the sartorial world, because somehow he always instinctively ahead of the trend game.
This season, the man kilt-loving designer [...]

Flipping through the latest March issue of NYLON, I couldn’t help but wonder — in classic Carrie Bradshaw speak — how actress Camilla Belle got that great, natural looking lip color in her Marvin Scott Jarrett-shot editorial spread.
Eight words: L’Oreal Paris HiP High Intensity Pigments Jelly Balm.
The consistency is, as the name suggests, exactly like [...]
