It’s like Gossip Girl, only the ladies aren’t in high school anymore — and there’s no Blair Waldorf wielding a headband and BlackBerry.
The Real Housewives of New York — essentially Constance Billard all grown up — are back for a second season!
To celebrate, Bravo is throwing a big fete at the Sephora on 597 5th [...]

Angela Bassett did it first at the 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards.
Then Mrs. Tom Cruise — aka. Katie Holmes — recently followed suit while supporting her A-list hubby at the UK premiere of Valkyrie.
Oh, the power of lilac eye shadow.
This shade is perfect for those with a dark (like Bassett) or an olive (like Holmes) complexion [...]

Dust off your YSL Tributes or — if you’re lucky (or a magazine editor) — get used to tottering around for twelve hours (and more) straight in your new Nicholas Kirkwoods.
New York Fashion Week — running from February 13 to February 20 — is almost here.
Despite the constant doom and gloom, the shuttering of stores [...]

Now here’s a name that gets less and less used in tabloids these days: Paris Hilton.
The peroxide blonde heiress is one the last the get on the bobbed hair train — a look that is on its way out, by the way, being replaced by extensions again — but get on the train she did.
What [...]

The first major award show went off without too much of a hitch in Los Angeles yesterday, as Hollywood’s A-list hit the red carpet for the 2009 Golden Globes.
Given the economic state of the world, many actresses opted to keep their dresses and makeup very pared down and simple — bright, bold colors did not [...]

When the clock finally ticks away from the old year, many thoughts turn to how we can make the new one the best year ever.
Or at least better than the last.
This may or may not include making a long, long list of resolutions, but it can mean cleansing your habitat of old papers, cards, clothes, [...]

Who knew Dame Edna Everage would end up being a MAC muse?
Following the heels of Hello Kitty for MAC is the purple-coiffed Australian drag queen — played by Barry Humphries since the mid-1950s — is now MAC’s latest collaborator. Fully recognizable, thanks to her lilac-colored hair and cat-eye glasses, Dame Edna inspires the limited-edition MAC collection with all sorts of purple and sparkle, the packaging stamped with glittery red glasses, gladiolas (her favorite flower) and her loopy signature.
