Andy Warhol continues to leave his mark on the worlds of fashion, art, beauty and fragrance, thanks to cult perfume label Bond No. 9.
Laurice Rahme, the founder of Bond No. 9, recently released Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue, the third scent in their special edition Warhol collection and a follow-up to the series’ Silver Factor and Union Square. The bottle, stamped all over with shoe and boot images, is an homage to Warhol’s art beginnings as a shoe illustrator living on Lexington Avenue in Pre-Pop, 1950s New York.
The eau de parfum itself is floral woody, with notes of citrus, peony, patchouli, fennel, almonds, sandalwood, cardamom and creme brulee.
Warhol, perfume and shoes — oh my!
