Tired of smelling like everyone else, and of waiting for large perfumeries to stop copying each other's scents and come up with something new and fresh, Terri began blending her own fragrances. Before long she was being stopped by women and men alike, who wanted to know what scent she was wearing, and where they could get it too. Taking this as a sign that she had hit upon a niche that needed filling, Terri began bottling her fragrances and went into business, first by word of mouth, and now expanding to the web amassing a celebrity following along the way. Terri is proud that such well known figures as Heather Locklear, Lisa Rinna, Jillian Barberie, Tori Spelling, Gail O'Grady, Amanda Bynes, Donna D'Errico, Rachel Hunter, and Jennifer Blanc use and enjoy her fragrances, and Fresh Scents by Terri was recently named as an "IT" Independent Fragrance company in the June 2006 issue of Women's Wear Daily.
