The Mascara That Will Have You Purring This Halloween

Let’s be honest. You’re feeling like a prowling feline a lot more often than you let on. Thankfully, this is the night for you to fully express your catty nature. If you’re looking for some last-minute  makeup inspo to match your claw-fully selected cat costume (as in, all black everything), this L’Oréal Paris Halloween tutorial and feline-inspired mascara is all you *knead* to complete your office party look.

Step 1. Eye Shadow Application

Real talk, nothing beats the intensity of a feline gaze. Kick your canine-clad friend’s tail this Halloween with an edgy smoky eye using Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Noir Cest Noir. Dust the black shadow over your entire lid, diffusing the shade just slightly above your crease.

Step 2. Eyeliner Application

Using a felt-tip liquid liner pen like the Voluminous Liner Noir, draw on a thick, dramatic cat eye starting from your inner corner and extending the wing to the tail end of your eyebrow. Line your lower lashline as well. Using the same black liner, dot on freckles and smudge them just slightly using your finger. Follow with setting powder to keep them in place.

To emphasize that piercing stare, outline the your cat eye and lower lid with a thin application of metallic gold eyeliner.

Step 3. Mascara Application

Catwoman didn’t have drab lashes, and neither do you. Make them stand out long and strong with the ultra-glossy Feline Waterproof Mascara. Because what’s a feisty feline without dramatic lashes, right?

Step 4. Lipstick Application

To keep all-things-catty up top, apply a natural-toned lipstick like Colour Riche Lipcolour in Saucy Mauve to lips and layer over a hint of gloss. Now you’re ready to catch some mice … or whatever else you’re on the prowl for.
