No Sweat: How to Get Post-Workout Pretty in 10 Minutes or Less
You’ve just hit the gym and your hair is looking less than stellar and your face is flushed red as a tomato. Even worse? You should have left for your appointment… like 10 minutes ago! Well ladies, we’ve got a surefire beauty routine that we often employ when we’re in a post-workout rush and we’re going to share it with you today…
3 Minutes: Rinse quick! Throw your hair into a high bun and hop in the shower. If you’re in a major rush do not wash your hair—just be sure to dampen the roots of the hair that frame your face to avoid an unwanted breakout. However, if your hair must be washed (a.k.a. you did some serious work at the gym), use a double duty shampoo and conditioner such as Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Clear 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner (add 5 minutes for drying).
4 Minutes: Dry, twist and knot. Next, quickly blow dry the hair around your face and apply some dry shampoo on your roots. We like L’Oreal Finishing Fresh Dust Hair Powder. Then pull your hair into a high pony, twist the tail into a bun and pin it into place using a few bobby pins.
Expert Hair Tip:NYC-based hairstylist Nathan Rosenkranz of Cutler Salon gave us two tips for quick and easy hair fixes...#1: Blow out the front of the hair around the face with a hair dryer. Leave the front section out and tie the rest into a rough low bun in the back of the head. This will give the "face forward" appearance of a finished look.#2: Split the hair in two from part line to center back of head. Gather and twist each side away from the face and spray the section with hair spray. Heat each section for a quick two minutes with a hair dryer. After the sections have cooled, gently shake them out for a relaxed wave.
3 Minutes: Makeup! It’s time to break out that stash of double duty beauty products. For a fresh face on the fly, apply a tinted moisturizer like Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer or your favorite BB cream (we are partial to Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream). Run a spoolie over your eyebrows. Then quickly curl your lashes, swipe on two coats of voluminizing mascara such as Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara, apply a cream blush to the apples of your cheeks as well as your lips and you should be ready to go! (You can always apply a bolder lip color en route to your final destination. Bright lips are a great way to pull your look together when you’re on the run.)

Now all you have to do is get dressed, apply deodorant and your favorite perfumeand go!
