FAQ: What is your favorite JUARA product?
The NEW JUARA Tamarind Tea Hydrating toner is probably my favorite new product. Its definitely different than the traditional toners. Some people think that as long as a non-alcoholic toner is not drying, its hydrating. We can do better! This toner actually uses precious hyaluronic acid and tamarind seed extract to moisturize as well as soften and balance skin, and restores lost water back into the skin. Used before a moisturizer, it makes any moisturizer work more effectively, and for very oily skin, you can even skip the moisturizer if youre afraid of breakouts. Weve also included other powerful ingredients, like green, white, and black tea for that extra antioxidant benefit.

The JUARA Sweet Black Tea Eye Creme is another favorite product. FAQ: My skins pretty sensitive and complicated, prone to getting oily and dry in different patches! Can you help me?
Most people dont realize that your skin benefits from a gentle approach, no matter what your skin type is, and the approach starts at the beginning of your skincare ritual, where a common culprit for unhappy skin resides. I suggest that the cleansing step should never be taken lightly a harsh cleanser can strip your skin and throw it off balance. For oily-skinned people, this can lead to your skin producing excess oil to compensate for the excess drying, exactly the nightmare to avoid! And for dry-skinned people, the cleanser can leave your skin overly taut, irritated and uncomfortable. Often times, I see people who try to compensate the over-dryness by heavy moisturizers and complain its too heavy and feels greasy. I also see the opposite; people who compensate for the over-oiliness by not putting on a moisturizer, (which in fact is what is needed to replenish the vital water hydration lost) and then no ones happy. I always recommend starting with the JUARA Rice Facial Cleanser formulated to be effective enough to remove make-up but gentle enough to not strip skin. To do that, we infused the cleanser with rice starch, known to be a humectant which holds water to the skin, and we do not use sulfates and other irritating surfactants.

I use it twice daily. After using it, my skin feels refreshed, clean, and most importantly, balanced and calm. From there, you can decide on the appropriate moisturizer I recommend the JUARA Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer ; it is light but extremely hydrating. Absolutely! Our masks are customized so they can fit in anyones skincare regiment. Use after cleansing; up to three times a week to add that special something you feel your skin is missing. Lucky Magazine & Womens Health Magazine have recommended the Milk & Red Sandalwood Mask as a calming, dullness-destroying mask thats good for skin which has redness or stress, giving skin a balanced, even tone. Luxury Spa Finder recommends the Turmeric Antioxidant Mask for anyone who is exposed to stress, traveling, and environmental pollutants. Our Lime Puree & Cucumber Clarifying Mask is excellent for oily/breakout prone skin, and our Avocado Banana Moisture Mask is nourishing for dry or dehydrated skin. You can also use mix and match masks depending on your skins need. (For example, for combination skin, you can use the Avocado Banana Moisture Mask on dry areas and the Lime Puree & Cucumber Clarifying Mask on oily areas.)

We choose ingredients that have been used in Indonesia for hundreds of years and have stood the test of time, have a story and a deep heritage. Then we look towards modern western science and rigorously research the same ingredients to make sure that there is scientific data validating the traditional claims. This way, we make sure that not only are JUARA products precious and true to tradition, but also very effective.
