3 Things You Can Do With Your Lip Balm

No matter how serious your relationship is with makeup, lip balm is one of those beauty products that every girl has on her person, in her cup holder, or rolling around in the bottom of her purse. And while this moisturizing lippie is most commonly known for saving our pouts from dry and chapped disasters (or for pre-smooch prepping), it’s surprisingly much more useful than just that! Check out the three other ways we’re putting our trusty lip balm to good use:

Lip Balm

1. Get Dewy Skin

Want glowing skin minus the glitter and shimmer (or effort)? Using your finger, lightly pat lip balm along your upper cheekbones and along your brow bone for a natural, dewy effect!

2. Heal Cracked Cuticles

If you’re in a pinch and need to salvage your dry cuticles (or even hands), just dab a small amount of lip balm on each nail bed and massage away!

3. Create a Glossy Shadow

You’ve seen the glossy lid trend all over runways (and on Makeup.com). Now, it’s your turn to give it a try! Mix your clear lip balm in with your eye shadow to give it a glossy, creamy texture.
