L’Oréal Paris at the Globes: Billy B’s Beauty Tutorial
The talented beauty gurus at L’Oréal Paris are hard at work on the eve of the 70th Golden Globe Awards. We caught up with consulting makeup artist Billy B, who showed us how to create the “iconic, easy, modern” look he predicts will be seen on Sunday’s red carpet. Follow his steps so you’ll “be a hit on your red carpet,” Billy B says.
Step 1: Prep your skin with a hydrating primer or a light-diffusing skin perfector. Try: L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother.
Step 2: Clean up your skin with a bit of foundation and pressed powder. Try: L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Powder.
Step 3: Create smoky eyes using bronze and brown shadows. “The deeper color for a smoky eye would start at the lash line,” Billy B says. Try: L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow in Because I’m Worth It!
Step 4: Line your top lash lines with black liquid liner. Billy B says this eyeliner is “subtle and effortless and I think that’s what makes it modern.” Try: L’Oréal Paris The Super Slim by Infallible. “This is one of my favorite things that L’Oréal has,” he adds.
Step 5: Finish off your eyes with black mascara. Try: L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in Black. It’s “the best-kept secret for a false eyelash look without false lashes,” Billy B says.
Step 6: Complete the look with a sheer, vibrant pink lipstick. Try: L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse by Colour Riche in Pink Vinyl. “It’s very modern because it’s not opaque,” Billy B says.
