Mineral makeup, when in a loose form without fillers, is revolutionary. It contains no preservatives, emulsifiers-nothing that might aggravate the skin. What do each of the ingredients in COLORFLO do?

- Micronized titanium dioxide - A natural sunblock which reflects light so UVA rays cannot absorb into skin-the best covering and whitening pigment available to lighten and brighten the skin.

- Micronized zinc oxide - The best available sun protection from both UVA and UVB rays.

Is COLORFLO good for all skin types?
COLORFLO works on any and all ages and skin types-from babies with sensitive skin needing sun protection, to teenagers and working women on the go, to older women with aging skin. Older women will find that COLORFLO holds through hotflashes. Susan Posnick COLORFLO contains no fillers or powders and will NOT settle into fine lines or wrinkles-unlike powder, it never looks dry. The minerals meld with the natural oils and the warmth of the skin to create a clean, natural finish-like a second skin. The best mineral makeup should make your skin look better, and you should not look like you're wearing makeup.

Can you use COLORFLO after cosmetic surgery and dermatologic procedures?
We suggest you apply COLORFLO immediately after all skin treatments to cover redness, provide sun protection, and nourish the skin with vitamins A and E. COLORFLO will not clog pores or irritate sensitive skin.

COLORFLO is a sunblock, not a sunscreen - what's the difference?
COLORFLO contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide - the only two natural sunblocks available.

The difference between sunblock and sunscreen is quite simple. Sunblock is effective immediately. It is like pulling a shade down between you and the sun. COLORFLO blocks both UVA and UVB rays.

Sunscreen takes approximately 30 minutes to create a chemical interactive filter of the sun. It is like having a window screen between you and the sun-some harmful rays can still penetrate the skin.

How should I apply COLORFLO for sun protection?
Think of your COLORFLO as a foundation when you are applying to get maximum sun protection. Like any other physical sunblock, you need a substantial layer to block out the sun's harmful rays. Apply COLORFLO in a circular motion and layer for stronger protection. For regular everyday protection, apply in the morning before going out in the sun and reapply as needed in the afternoon. A light dusting throughout the day can never hurt either!

How often should I reapply COLORFLO after swimming or perspiring?
For constant sun exposure, like all sun protection, when at the beach or pool-reapply every 1 ½-2 hours for best protection. COLORFLO is water-resistant and sweat-proof, but you should always reapply (using a circular motion) after swimming and/or strenuous outdoor activity. If COLORFLO is rubbed with a towel, some will come off. If it is lightly patted with a towel, it will last.

What is the best way to dispense COLORFLO?
To initially prep the brush-Click button at base of COLORFLO 1-2 times before your first application to get the minerals flowing through the brush head. After the initial prep, there is no need to pump the brush again.
For regular use, simply tap the brush across the meaty part of your palm 1-3 times until a small amount of minerals are visible in the brush.

When do you refill the brush and how do you know how much to refill?
Is it possible to overfill the brush?
The COLORFLO brush contains approximately 3 months worth of product based on everyday use (once or twice daily). You should only refill the COLORFLO brush when it is empty, or near empty.

To refill, simply unscrew the base of the brush dispenser and pour powder from refill container into dispenser. Directions are found on the refill package. Refill containers hold approximately the same amount of product as the original dispenser (though it may look like less due to settling).

COLORFLO works on an air-flow system and should hold NO MORE than one refill in the barrel at a time. Too much mineral in the barrel can prevent the brush from working correctly.

Can COLORFLO be used as a bronzer?
Susan Posnick offers a "bronzer," but depending on your skin tone, COLORFLO in M8, M9, and M10 can also be used as bronzers to warm the skin.

How do you make your eye makeup last longer?
Apply a good coat of COLORFLO to the eyelid as a base before applying liner and shadow.

After lining the eyes, top the liner with a light layer of shadow to "set" the liner.

How does the eye shadow in the COLOREYEDEFINE pencil work?
The shadow is housed in the lid. To apply eyeshadow color, twist off the cap to open and to pick up eyeshadow color. For more intense, twist cap over applicator repeatedly to pick up more color, and reapply.

How do I keep a sharp angle on the COLOREYEDEFINE pencil?

To sharpen angled liner:
Twist up 1/8", press on a clean tissue, and drag along a flat surface.

How do I keep my products and tools clean?
After using any Susan Posnick product, you can use a small amount of alcohol to sterilize. Just spray on a tissue and swipe the applicator or product across to disinfect.
