Paula Dorf is the creative mastermind behind Paula Dorf Cosmetics; a high quality collection of brushes and color cosmetics. Paula's products are admired as the best in the business by fellow professional makeup artists, celebrities and most importantly, makeup lovers around the world.
It is the ultimate tribute to Paula that industry leaders know her collection of unique products "did not exist" until Paula created them. She first envisioned many of these products while working as the lead makeup artist on album covers, music videos, and films during the 1980s and 1990s in New York City.
Crafting brushes from art supply stores, her early tools included the award winning Foundation Brush, Cheek Cream Brush and Eye Transformer Brush, so unique they are patented. Paula's designs are so phenomenal that other companies have tried to duplicate them, yet none have been able to match.

Paula Dorf Cosmetics has received a variety of accolades over the years including multiple "Allure Best of Beauty" awards, Self Magazine's Healthy Beauty Award and the Fashion Group International "Rising Star Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2006.
Paula was born in the Bronx, New York and currently lives in Manhattan with her husband and co-founder, Sandy Dekovnick, the company's CEO. When taking breaks from product development for her collections, Paula enjoys having fun with her family and friends, watching movies, attending concerts and visiting museums in her beloved city of New York. She is personally dedicated to helping others by participating in two important non-profit organizations: Gilda's Club based in New York City and the Wildlife Waystation, a rescue and reserve for animals based in California.
