For Spring 2008, April Jacob has taken a cue from the runway shows, to create looks to suit the fresh and fun colours seen on the catwalks of New York, Paris, Milan and Toronto. Lips are either bright with bold colour, or subtle with soft-muted shades; cheeks are creamy and soft; and eyes are neutral and understated to balance the lips and cheeks for an all-together sophisticated look.

Here are the two easy-to-achieve looks Jacob has created for Spring 2008, sure to inspire a moving through the day or night with confidence:

Spring 2008 Beauty Trend 1: Pale Sheer Lip with Soft Understated Eyes

1. Sweep Worshiped Eye Splendor Shadow - Velvet Finish on lid using a soft eye shadow brush.
   
   
2. Using a small brush, line the top lash lines with Treasured Eye Splendor Shadow - Velvet Finish and soften with a Q-tip.
   
   
3. Using Lavish Lash Extravagance Mascara, apply 2 coats to top and bottom lashes.
   
   
4. Apply with finger tips Allure Cream Radiance Rouge to apples of cheeks and blend out towards hairline.
   
   
5. Using Abigail or Mabel Luscious Lip Sheer Lipstick, apply to lips with a lip brush.
   
   
6. Top off with Dearest Glamour Glaze Lip Gloss.
   
   

Spring 2008 Beauty Trend 2: Vibrant Colored Lip with Neutral Defined Eye

1. Sweep Sweet Nothings Eye Splendor Shadow - Velvet Finish on lid using a soft eye shadow brush.
   
   
2. Using a small brush, line the top lash lines with Devoted Eye Splendor Shadow - Velvet Finish and soften with a Q-tip.
   
   
3. Apply 2 coats of mascara to top and bottom lashes, using Demure Lash Extravagance Mascara.
   
   
4. Apply Longing For Soft Flush Powder Blusher to apples of cheeks with a soft blush brush, and blend out towards hairline.
   
   
5. Using ViVi or Maribeth Luscious Lipshimmer Lipstick apply to lips with a lip brush.
   
   
6. Top off with Glitz Lip Scintillate Lip Gloss.
