Tzeira Sofer is the founder, president and creative force behind Pomega5™, the industry's first complete line of organic pomegranate seed oil nutritional supplements and therapeutic skin care. As a practitioner in healing arts and an expert on women's health and wellness, Tzeira was driven by a vision to create an authentic, holistic line based upon the potent benefits of the pomegranate.

Working with leading doctors, scientists and experts in the wellness arena, she developed the Pomega5 line of skin care treatments inspired by ancient recipes yet supported by the latest scientific research which shows the potential of pomegranate seed oil as a broad spectrum medicinal plant supporting and maintaining breast, uterine, heart and prostate health as well as skin health and appearance. And because Tzeira places the highest value on the quality of her company's products, the result is a completely natural, organic product line created for consumers looking to achieve a healthier skin and a healthier body.

Born in Israel, Tzeira became intrigued with traditional Jewish medicine and the natural health benefits of plants and herbs at a very young age. As a little girl, she would watch her grandmother, who was also a chef, experiment with fruits, herbs and flowers not only in her cooking, but in the preparation of healing remedies as well. (In fact, she first became aware of the healing powers of the pomegranate from her grandmother who used it to treat ailments.) Then as a teenager she began to visit local apothecaries where she would blend and experiment with essential oils and plants, creating skin care products for her self and her friends.

Her knowledge grew as she studied ancient medicine and the benefits of plant & herbs to health, beauty and well-being. A lifelong scholar of nutrition, she studied under Dr. Barry Sears and immersed herself in the teachings of Rambam, a reknown Jewish doctor from the 11th century. She continues to work with skin care leaders in France along with experts in healing plants and herbs in Israel and the leading experts on pomegranate seed oil worldwide.

From designing clothes and decorating homes, to creating delicious meals and developing unique new products, Tzeira has always been a creative soul. She is committed to educating people about the importance of nutrition to all around health and well-being, conducting classes for children and workshops for women. With Pomega5, Tzeira is able to combine her creative energies with her lifelong commitment to educate women about health and wellness.

She currently lives in San Anselmo, California with her husband and three children.
