Pro Girls: How Makeup Artists Do Their Own Summer Look
Who better to show off two of the cutest summer makeup trends than the artists who created them? Check out their before and after pics below, and then follow our tips to get the look on your own.
Daytime Trend to Try: Peachy Cheeks
To create this flushed, sun-kissed look, makeup artist Carmindy swept Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Sun Glow Powder Bronzer in Summer across her forehead, nose, and chin, then followed by dusting a little bit of Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Powder Blush in Cherub onto the apples of her cheeks. She finished the look with a light gold cream shadow and two coats of mascara on her top lashes only.
Nighttime Trend to Try: Smoky Eyes
For this sultry, evening look, Los Angeles makeup artist Shalini Vadhera Potts swept M.A.C. Eye Shadow in Hoodwinked all over her lids, then pressed VS Makeup Silky Eyeshadow Sparkle in #608 into each crease for a little definition. Next, she traced M.A.C Eyeliner in Espresso and Teddy along the upper and lower lash lines, and topped it all off with four layers of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Blackest Black . A neutral blush and a little lip balm completed the date night look.
