This shave cream out does anything I have ever tried. I recently went to Nordstrom and got samples of all the high end shave creams and the Hydroplane still out performs. I've searched long and hard for a peppermint hair conditioner that smells great, tingles the scalp, and is affordably priced. The Art of Shaving appears to be that (I could use more tingle, but I won't complain). However, the bottle is, quite literally, impossible to use. It is such stiff plastic that you cannot squeeze hard enough without hurting yourself to get the product out. Maybe because this is a men's line and they expect you to man handle it?
