It’s official: we’ve gone sock bun crazy! And while we can’t get enough of our beloved bun in its purest form, there comes a time when every look needs a fresh, new twist.   1. Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a rubber band.
  2. Form your sock bun but leave one section of hair loose from the top of the bun.
  3. Once you have secured your bun, gently tease the loose section to build volume and softly brush the section to smooth.
  4. Twist the section two to three times, wrap around the bun, and secure.

  1. Split your front hair into two sections and pull the rest of your hair into a ponytail to get it out of the way.
  2. Proceed to French braid one section at a time down the sides of your head (I used an inside out French braid) and secure with a clear rubber band.
  3. Undo your ponytail and tease the crown of your loose hair, then brush the top until smooth.
  4. Pull the loose hair into a ponytail again, making sure to give the top a little volume.
  5. Form your sock bun and secure with pins.
  6. Finally, wrap the loose braids around the bun.
