Why Organic?
Synthetic has a place, but not on the body. Why use harsh chemicals in shampoos, styling gels, skin moisturizers and soaps?  John Masters Organics, the brand, was inspired by John Masters Organics, the salon. It has been described as heavenly, peaceful, and fragrant. Clients emerge feeling beautiful and renewed. John Masters Organics hair and skin preparations are an extension of that experience - at home. In the salon, all products are started and perfected, with the help of John's clients. Each is formulated with one simple result in mind: super natural beauty. The ingredients used in John Masters products are harvested all over the world. The best botanicals available are used, like Bulgarian Rose Essential Oil and Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil. John Masters Organics never substitutes inferior ingredients for organic botanicals in order to control costs.
All ingredients must meet John's strict guidelines:- All final products must be 75-100% organic. No petroleum based or non-carbon based products allowed.
- All plant extracts and essential oils must be certified organic whenever possible.
- All essential oils used must be steam-distilled and not extracted with propylene glycol - which kills the effect of the oils.
- All plant oils must be cold pressed, not heat distilled - which kills the therapeutic properties of plant oils.
- All ingredients must not be tested on animals. And the final product is never tested on animals either.
- All ingredients must be proven to be beneficial to the hair or skin.
- All ingredients must be harvested in an environmentally-friendly manner (wild-crafted).
- All ingredients must be bio-degradable as possible.
- No artificial colors, fragrances or fillers may ever be used.
