Beauty Looks For Fall

Though a part of you may be mourning summer upon the arrival of the first signs of cold weather, the other part of you is eager to pull your favorite fall sweaters out of the back of your closet. We get it — there’s nothing quite like a good sweater on a crisp autumn day. Put a PSL in our hands and it’s basically the best day ever. We like to capitalize on this experience by wearing makeup and hair that captures the essence of sweater weather, regardless of if you’re actually wearing a sweater or not.

Pretty in Your Poncho

Keep it light and pretty to balance out the oversized outerwear. Add a pop of color to your cheeks for a flushed, wind-kissed look using Lancôme Paris Blush Subtil in Cosmopolitan Pink. Time to play up your peepers by thinly lining your upper lids with L’Oréal Paris Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner and slightly winging the outer corners, for a subtle cat eye. Complete your winter wonderland appearance with soft waves that are brushed out, for a touch of natural glam, and seal it with a pink-toned pout! Now that you look the part, you’re ready for a bundled-up night of ice skating and snowball fights (uh, not in the face please)!

Slouchy Sweater Chic

Since your body is in a complete state of happiness and comfort, why not play up your beauty game and really look winter weather chic? Pair your slouchy sweater with matte finish makeup for the perfect complexion and bump it up with some strong, defined contouring using the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette. Go for wine-stained lips and throw hair up in a strategic messy-bun or top knot before heading out the door!

Cable Knit Classy

Our autumn weather fashion staple — the classic cable knit. You really can’t go wrong with a closet full of these pleasant pieces. And oh, the possibilities that come with them! Dress up your knit with a barely there makeup look that screams cool and classy (brrr!). Wear hair straight and sleek with a little help from a heat-protector like Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist. Keep skin foundation-free or use YSL Top Secrets All-in-One BB Cream to conceal any imperfections and then it’s time to do some winter-esque highlighting! Transform your features with a little snowflake inspiration by adding a touch of shimmer along the inner corners of your eyes, forehead, cheekbones and cupid’s bow! Complete your polished look with Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs Lipstick in Nude Lust and now you’re ready for a fireplace date and some hot toddies!
