The Eyeliners Beauty Bloggers Swear By

These ladies make a living writing and ranting about the beauty stuff that really works—they know what they’re talking about. When we asked them to tell us which eyeliners rule, they didn’t hold back. Here are the products that got their stamp of approval.
“My heart belongs to Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, which I gave another look after a whole slew of Glamour.com readers basically said they wanted to marry it. Now they're going to have to get in line. I have the oiliest eyelids ever and this is one of the few eyeliners that will stand up to the wetlands that are my eyelids. Plus, it comes in about 400 million colors. Well, more than 10, at least. They make a great purple shade called Lust that's got sparkles in it. It makes me feel fancy.”

Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in Black is the only perfectly pigmented, rich black liner that stays put for my entire 16-hour days. There's zero fading and no smudging. Love.
— Amber Katz, beautybloggingjunkie.com
“My absolute favorite eyeliner is MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack. It's a gel liner that goes on smooth like a liquid liner, allows for more precision than a pencil. It also has serious staying power.”
– Kitiya Mischo King, mischobeauty.com
Illamasqua Eyeliner Cake in Mislead is something that never leaves my makeup bag.It switches from a pressed powder to liquid liner as soon as I swipe it with a wet brush, and I have a lot of control as I apply it to my lids. If you change brushes (as you should) you can achieve all sorts of effects with this, including a smoky eye. And it never smudges and stays put throughout the day. Did I also mention that this cake liner lasts an entire year and then some? Not bad for $23 bucks!”

“I'm currently in love with CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Brown Blaze. During the daytime, I just line my upper lashes, but at night I line my upper lashes and inner bottom rims.  The formula glides on smoothly and is also super-blendable so I can make it look soft and smudgy when I want to. I like using Brown Blaze—it really compliments my hazel eye color.”
— Jeannine Morris, beautysweetspot.com
“I love the versatility of Lancôme Artliner Precision Point Eyeliner in Noir. It's intensely black with a liquid finish, and has a precision point that allows you to draw a thin, defined line with easy control—or build it up for a thicker, more dramatic look. If I'm not wearing black eyeliner, my next choice is purple. I've never seen a woman not look good in purple. This royal shade brings out the depth and beauty of eyes!”
— Grace Gold, Makeup.com
“If you want a good liner for not a lot of money, try Ruby Kisses Xxpress Liner—you can find it at most beauty supply stores. It lasts forever and it’s really easy to blend. It doesn’t give harsh lines, just soft smudgy pencil action that doesn't run or crease. Black is always great but grey and brown have a softer effect and don't look as harsh.”
— Lianne Farbes, themakeupgirl.net
"I'm an eyeliner hoarding whore, so it's really hard for me to pinpoint just one that's my most favorite in the world. Instead, I'll just tell you the one that I have on today and love: Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner. It has a super fine tip so you can create a fly cat eye in literally two seconds!"
