Behind the Brand

With more than 30 years combined experience in the world of beauty, overflowing with ideas and armed with two years of personal savings, we launched Three Custom Color Specialists from Scott and Chad's apartment in Hell's Kitchen, NYC in 1997. We started small, with our Custom Blending Service for Lip Color, 15 Ready to Wear Lipsticks and 10 Lip Liners available only by mail.

Now, so many years later, the Three Custom Color Specialists Headquarters & Color Studio is located in the historic Flatiron District of NYC, just off 5th Avenue. We divide our attentions between our personal clients, our esteemed retailers and our consulting work with makeup artists and other taste-makers around the globe.

Our Ready to Wear Collection has grown to over 250 products for the eyes, lips, cheeks and face embracing all skin types and skin tones. The collection is hand-designed by us and our highly-skilled team of Color Specialists. The range is based on the many years of experience as makeup artists in the field and the knowledge gleaned from hand-blending products every day for our clients. Our Custom Blending archives now contain over 9,000 discontinued shades of color cosmetics dating back to the 1930's.

Our products are available at exclusive cosmetic counters in over 12 countries and in an ever expanding number of specialty stores, spas and apothecaries throughout the United States.
