She Nailed It: Tiffany & Co.-Inspired Nails

So your hubby, partner, boyfriend (whatever you want to call him) might not have the budget to present you with a little blue box very often, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the thrill that comes along with receiving one.
Paint your nails with a robin's egg blue polish like nail fiend Sharon M. did, then finish one of your digits off with a bow. Your friends will be equally as envious as they would have been if you had actually gotten that bling from Tiffany's. Here's how she created the look, which she says is "by far my favorite design."
  • Step 1: Start by applying a base coat and two coats of China Glaze Nail Lacquer in For Audrey.
  • Step 3: Starting in the middle of the nail, paint half a loop on the right—from the center to the top of where the loop will fall. Then, paint the other half of the loop starting from center until it meets the other half of the loop at the top. "That was the only way could get the hairpin curve in the loop," says Sharon.
  • Step 4: Create a similar loop using the same technique on the left hand side of the vertical line.
  • Step 5: Paint a tiny, slightly curved line below the horizontal line on either side of the vertical line. Then, camouflage any mistakes by painting a dot of white in the center of the bow.
  • Step 6: After letting your nails dry for a few minutes, finish with a clear top coat.
