What's Trending: Earth Day Beauty; Minimalist Makeup & 90’s Nods

This Earth Day, we're craving planet-friendly products, fresh faces, and nostalgic inspiration. Here's a look at the best of what's trending in beauty today. Earth Day Beauty

In celebration of Earth Day, Kiehl’s partnered with celebrities to draw attention to a charity that helps our planet. Alanis Morisette and Zachary Quinto each designed earth-centric labels for Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream (one of our all-time favorite moisturizers) and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward Recycle Across America.

In simplicity there is timeless beauty. From the runways of New York to Milan, designers echoed this sentiment during their Spring 2013 shows, opting for a clean, matte face. To get the look, try a matte foundation, like Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H or Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation.

Kurt Cobain. Saved by the Bell. Jelly Sandals. What’s not to love about the 90’s? The trends of this beloved decade are sneaking into the limelight once again with Courtney Love inspired lived-in eyeliner, bedhead and bold lips popping up all over the Spring 2013 runways. To get the look, try Redken Wool Shake 08 for messy and textured hair, and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil for perfectly smudged eyes.
