Add a Side of Romance
Take a cue from this year’s Met Gala hair, and style your hair with a romantic, deep side part. To find the perfect part, celebrity Stylist Marcus Francis suggests: “Using the end of a tail comb, section a deep side part using the arch of the eyebrow as a guide.”
Pump Up Your Pout
Brighten your mood and your face with a swipe of bold lipstick. Some of our current favorites include: L’Oréal Colour Caresse Lipstick in Blushing Sequin, Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Crème Lipstick in Bright Fuchsia, and Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid Lipstick in Electric Orange.
Layer Your Lashes
Makeup Artist Tim Quinn gave us his mascara tip: “Curl your lashes and apply a few coats of mascara. I like to blend black with a pop of color to add more dimension. Think blue or green—not neon. Subtle.” We suggest starting with navy, like Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils in Deep Night.

Use a few pumps of your favorite oil before bedtime to relieve stress and soothe your skin.
Throw a Bow On It
Sometimes the simplest beauty tricks have the most impact. To add a feminine twist to your look, use a bow hair clip, (we like American Apparel’s selection) to top off your pony or even hold back your bangs.
