We’re suckers for most DIYs of the beauty sort, and when we discover a super doable nail art design, we’re on that faster than any top coat could ever dry. So you could say that our team was pretty excited when we came across this gorgeous dark manicure with a metallic gold dot design from Alice & Olivia’s Fall 2017 runway show. Ahead, discover how to easily DIY this mani at home:
What You’ll Need:
Base: First Base Top Coat
Good As Gold
Top Coat: Gel Setter
Start with a base coat, and then apply two coats of Essie Licorice. To create the gold dot design, use a double-ended nail dotting tool to create a medium-sized gold circular “stud” with Essie Good as Gold polish close to the cuticle. Next, create a second small dot directly above the medium-sized one. Finish with Essie Gel-Setter Top Coat.
Feel free to get creative by changing up the placement of gold “studs.” Consider creating two smaller-sized dots on opposite ends of your nail — with one close to the base of your nail and one close to the very tip.
