Female celebrities tend to form adorable BFF bonds with their hairstylists (Jennifer Aniston and Chris McMillan, Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves). Supermodels, on the other hand, create sizzling love affairs with their makeup artists—at least on film. Whenever Lancôme spokesmodel Daria Werbowy and the brand's artistic director Aaron de Mey get together for a photo shoot, the results are ridiculously hot (I swear he could paint her face in mud and somehow both the mud and Daria would look enticing). The two often collaborate for European publications such as French Vogue, but we don't often see their work here in the U.S. So I was thrilled when Marie Claire brought the two together for their December issue in a feature called "Everything Is Illuminated." In the seven-page story—shot by Tesh and with hair by Shay Ashual—Daria and Aaron present five sultry makeup looks ranging from lacquered fuchsia lips (directly below) to icy silver-rimmed eyes (second from bottom). The one constant throughout all the photos: Radiant sheen. Daria has never looked better, and all of the makeup looks Aaron created are refreshingly wearable (pick up the issue to read his tips and product recommendations for each one).
