During awards season we spend more time staring at our favorite beauty mavens on the red carpet than actually watching the show (followed by an obligatory, intense Instagram sweep of the looks we just fawned over live). It’s too hard not to fangirl over breathtaking beauty looks like Lupita Nyong’o’s serpent-inspired red carpet makeup from last week’s red carpet — made up of shimmery eyeshadow, luminous skin and a neutral lustrous lip that we may or may not have attempted to recreate over the weekend.

And since another week means another awards show, here are the ladies we’re crushing on from last night’s event:

Camila Cabello

Cabello’s makeup artist, Allan Avendano, aimed to “create a beautiful look that would suit each of her outfits and compliment her features.” The L’Oréal Paris spokesmodel debuted all L’Oréal Paris products, including some of our favorites like L’Oréal Paris Hydra Genius Moisturizer to prep her skin, two coats of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara  (after curling them twice) and L'Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Definer for a defined, but still effortless brow shape.

Beyoncé

Makeup master Sir John used a combination of L'Oréal Paris, YSL Beauty and Glossier products to tie Beyoncé’s look together. He started by using the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Total Cover Concealing & Contour Kit, utilizing lighter tones under the eyes and darker tones to create dimension and contour. Then, to create her highlight, he used L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion on her cheekbones, bridge of her nose and other high points of her face. One of our favorite parts of the look was her  bold purple-magenta lip look utilizing L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lip Liner in Strike A Matte-ch and a mix of both YSL Beauty Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Fuchsia Intime & Carmine Encounter.

Janelle Monáe

"I wanted to give Janelle a timeless and current look at the same time, so I decided to give her a Twiggy 2018 vibe,” explains Monáe’s makeup artist Jessica Smalls. To brighten her appearance, Smalls prepped her skin with Kiehl’s Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask. For her bold and sexy eye look, Smalls used an array of Buxom Cosmetics products like Eyeshadow Bar Single Eyeshadows in Lingerie Lover, Haute Couture and LBD. Finally, she hydrated her lips with Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 and used Buxom Cosmetics Full-On Lip Polish in the shade Megan.
