11 Best Makeup Collections to Shop in 2018

11 Best Makeup Collections to Shop in 2018

Another year, another round of beauty products to test and try — and these are especially good. We’ve rounded up the makeup launches you should know about this year (and where to get them!). Our faves, ahead:

Essie Treat Love & Color Collection

This shade extension is one of our favorites, and here’s why: The formula is designed to take care of your nails underneath the polish. Infused with collagen and camellia extract, this collection rehabs your nails from the moment you apply. The new color range includes 26 creme and sheer polishes meaning you don’t have to choose between healthy nails and colors you love. If you’re new to the TLC game, try Good Lighting — a bright caramel shade that is flattering on a range of skin tones.

Essie Enchanted Collection

We’re big fans of the Essie Gel Couture Range so we started counting down the days when we heard a new collection was on the way. This two-step system is designed to give you long lasting polish that doesn’t chip after a few days of wear. Our favorite shade from this line has to be Once Upon A Time, an icy blue polish that will make you feel like a princess.

Essie Desert Mirage Collection

Inspired by the hues of the desert, the Desert Mirage collection features 6 shades that speak to all aspects of the landscape — from the “Blue-tiful Horizon” (a cerulean blue with an amber shift) to Less-Is-Aura, a terracotta beige that’s probably the closest we’ll get to Saharan sand IRL.

L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Natural Glow Enhancer

Even though the entire Lumi collection is a standout, the L’Oréal True Match Lumi Natural Glow Enhancer tops the list. Not only is it hydrating, it’s formulated with various color tints (there are four adaptable shades) that deliver an all-over glow when applied. The Glow Enhancers also contain Glycerin to ensure continuous all-day hydration.

Maybelline City Kits All In One Palette

If you fell in love at first swipe with the ever-popular City Mini Eyeshadow Palettes, then you’re in luck. This month, new City Palettes are coming — and they’re bigger than before! We’ve had our eye on City Lights, an all-shimmer pastel palette with holo packaging pretty enough for the ‘gram.

Maybelline TattooStudio Waterproof Eyebrow Gel

Another product to watch: TattooStudio Brow Gel. It locks brows in place for up to 48 hours and stays put through rain, sleet or snow (literally!). There are four colors to pick from, and once you’ve tried this waterproof brow gel, nothing else compares.

Lancôme Custom Strobing Drops

Lancôme just dropped custom strobing drops — perfect for adding to your Teint Idole Ultra foundation or using on their own. There are four versatile shades that blend beautifully into the skin and a dropper applicator, making it super easy to apply.

Lancôme Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint

There is also a new hydrating skin tint — perfect for those no-makeup makeup days. Somewhere between a BB Cream and a foundation, the new Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tints are a must have for getting that “I woke up like this” look. This is a great formula for spring because it isn’t heavy and doesn’t sit on top of your face like a mask. It also has good-for-your-skin ingredients ike hyaluronic acid and glycerin to really lock in the hydration.

Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Daydream Eyeshadow Palette

In case you missed it (which you probably didn’t), Urban Decay is collaborating with beauty blogger Kristen Leanne to bring us a collection worth going broke for. Their collab features two eyeshadow palettes, a highlighter palette and three limited edition Vice Lipsticks. BRB, spending all of our money. So far, our hearts are with the Daydreamer Palette, a matte eyeshadow palette with neutral shades that will add to every eye look. The colors include: Lucy, an ivory matte, Daydream, a soft flesh-toned matte, 12/12, a peachy matte shade, Subscribe, a caramel matte and Eight, a deep warm-toned brown.

Giorgio Armani Face Fabric Foundation

One thing’s for sure: Armani Beauty knows foundation — so we couldn’t be more excited for their newest launch. Armani Face Fabric is a full-coverage matte finish foundation that’s surprisingly lightweight — a combination we would deem impossible if Armani wasn’t running the show. The brand is relaunching with 12 shades ranging from 0 to 11.5 — catering to various shades and undertones. You can pick this up at your local department store, Sephora, and of course, the brand’s website.

Shu Uemura Tokyo Spirit Eyebrow Manicure

Shu Uemura’s latest drop is the Tokyo Spirit collection, inspired by a futuristic version of the Japanese city with a playful, holo twist. We’re most excited about the Eyebrow Manicure, a tinted brow gel to help you get the colorful brows of your dreams. The brand is releasing two limited edition shades — deep lilac and bright maroon, two colors that are on trend and somehow wearable.
