A New Essie Nail Polish Collection Debuted on the Red Carpet Last Night and We Have the Details

Unsurprisingly, there was no shortage of glitz, glamour and fire beauty looks on last night’s red carpet. Mandy Moore took everyone’s breath away with a monochromatic makeup look brought to life using the new Proenza Schouler for Lancôme Palette, and Sandra Oh’s warm eye makeup paired elegantly with her plunging red Moroccan-style dress and subtle brown-red glossy lip. And as much as we could keep on gushing about our favorite makeup looks of the evening, we can’t help but divert your attention to a celebrity nail trend we noticed on the carpet. So many of our fave actresses debuted nail looks featuring glittery polish and as it turns out, there was good reason for it. At last night’s red carpet event in Los Angeles, artists created a variety of fire nail looks using the new, not-yet-released Essie Concrete Glitters Collection  — coming this October.

The Essie Concrete Glitters Collection comes in six shades perfect for fall, winter and basically any season or event life throws at you. The nail polish shades include a gray glitter with copper undertones named Stay Up Slate, a sheer white with gold shimmer named Venture to the Venue, a sparkling rose pink glitter shade named Beat of the Moment, a shimmering gold glitter with copper tones named Can’t Stop Her In Her Copper, a fuschia pink glitter named City Slicker and an emerald green glitter with gold highlights named Night Owl.

Turn on your Essie Instagram notifications because the official announcement about their release should be coming any day (or minute!) now. Once they’re released into the world, these limited-edition polishes won’t be available for long — so grab your faves as soon as you can. Get your sneak peak down below to see all six in their glittery glory.
